Letters to Catherine Byles, 1783-1788.

Manuscript copies of letters written by Harrison Gray, the last British Royal Treasurer of Massachusetts in England to Catherine Byles, a Loyalist in Boston, 7 May 1783- 23 Aug. 1788, discussing political issues in post-Revolutionary America. Letters were copied by Arthur Wentworth Hamilton Eaton in 1920 and include an introduction written by him. The location of original letters is unknown.
